One of the most commonly asked questions that we get is about the origins of the coffee sacks that we use to make our products. This is very simple. The coffee sacks we use are a byproduct of the coffee industry. To be more precise they are singe-use sacks that are used to transport the green coffee beens from the plantation to the warehouses and finally to the coffee roasteries. At the end they are opened and their contents are emptied into big coffee roasting machines and the sacks then, well... thrown away as it would be very uneconomical to have them transported back to the plantations to be used again. Not to mention that the sacks carry information about the year of the harvest so it would be impossible to use them again next year. We collect, select and clean these bags and then we have ready the most important ingredient for our products.
